Randy Rosenberg MD FAAN FACP shares his expertise in neurology and 50 years of musical performance to a conversation about Music As Medicine.

Topics to be explored include: the history of music as treatment for illness, the power of rhythm for memory enhancement, music therapy, music and pain relief, how music can protect an aging brain, help victims of brain injury, and enhance study and learning, the advantages of neurologic music therapy for dementia, stroke and Parkinson’s disease, and the future of musical treatment for a variety of other illness.

Dr. Rosenberg’s presentation is appropriate for both lay and professional audiences and all are invited.
